About Andy Duckmanton
Andy Duckmanton qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Osteopathy. He is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), registration number 6400, and has additional training in medical acupuncture and the Niel-Asher Technique for frozen shoulder.
Osteopathy and Other Treatments
At Eastbourne Osteopathy, treatment is tailored to the individual following an assessment of their symptoms and medical history. Deepending on your needs, treatment may include osteopathy, medical acupuncture, cranial osteopathy or instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques (IASTM).
Medical Acupuncture: Medical acupuncture involves the use of fine needles inserted at specific points in the body. It may be used alongside osteopathic treatment where appropriate a part of the management of muscular and joint-related pain.
Osteopathy: Osteopathy uses a range of hands-on techniques to assess and treat problems affecting the muscles, joints and associated tissues. Treatment may include techniques aimed at improving movement and managing symptoms such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and stiffness.
Cranial Osteopathy: Cranial osteopathy is a gentle approach using subtle manual techniques. It may be incorporated into osteopathic treatment where appropriate, depending on the individual patient and the findings of the assessment.
IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Management): Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) uses specially designed tools as part of the assessment and treatment of muscles and other soft tissues. It may be used alongside other osteopathic techniques where appropriate.
Electro-Acupuncture: Electro-acupuncture combines acupuncture with mild electrical stimulation applied through the acupuncture needles. It may be used alongside osteopathic treatment where appropriate as part of an individual treatment plan.

We are located right on the Eastbourne seafront promenade at the Natural Fitness & Therapy Centre. We are the building right next to Redoubt Fortress.
There is ample parking at the Treasure Island Pay & Display car park and also in the neighbouring roads.
Remember: The building is right on the promenade and not visible from the road.
